I discovered Coastal Vet in a moment of crisis. My goldendoodle, Fitz, was seriously ill, and my previous vet just didn’t have the ability to work quickly enough to get answers. I was upset and frustrated when a neighbor recommended Costal Vet. After filling out an online inquiry, I got an immediate call from Dr. Hofmeister who got straight to work helping me with my boy. They were able to see me same day and run tests on the spot which allowed them to quickly rule things in or out. While we were ultimately too late to save my Goldendoodle, the level of care I received for Dr. Hofmeister, Dr. Cromwell, and the whole Coastal Vet Team in his remaining days was second to none. Flash forward to now, and I’ve had the same great experience with my Portuguese Water Dog puppy, Buoy. Absolutely nothing is better than knowing you have a a team of knowledgeable, caring professionals on speed dial 24/7.

I just wanted to express how grateful I am that coastal vet was able to get my dog in for emergency surgery. I literally called about 20 different emergency hospitals this morning none were able to help my dog. From the moment I got there they took me back, let me be there with my dog and just were absolutely amazing. My dog would not of survived another day if it wasn’t for coastal vet.

We have had an incredible experience with our dog’s surgery and follow up appointments at Coastal Vet. Their incredible vet left no stone unturned in helping our little dog. We were allowed to remain with him during his evaluations which helped to minimize his stress level. Their knowledge techs answered all of questions right away. We are very grateful for all of their care, kindness and expertise. Just wonderful!

My 11yr old cat had a sudden health crisis which very likely could have ended up killing him but Dr Cromwell and her team went above and beyond to provide superhero care during his hospitalization. I was even able to spend a couple hours with him after hours when he was at his worst which I really believe helped him (and me) get through it. He required many follow up appointments to get him back to his normal self and vet tech Courtney was the best I’ve ever worked with and always treated him like one of her own. 10/10 recommend Coastal Vet and I won’t be taking my cats anywhere else!

Coastal Vet is amazing! The staff and veterinarians are truly one of a kind. You think it cannot get any better but they find a way to continue to go the extra mile. My dog has always had bad allergies. So, like clock work his allergies flared up again. I reached out to Coastal Vet to seek advise and they scheduled me a same day appointment. I was able to get the necessary advice and care to help with my pets allergy concerns. Thank you Dr. Kenyon and staff!

They went above and beyond for my fur baby. She was loved backed to health im pretty sure. Everyone was so involved in her care and had great follow up. They offer to literally be there every step of the way. I was able to go with her to get xrays and in the back to see everything being done. I got updated through out the day. Definitely recommend.

Coastal Vet has been a god send for our fur babies. They cared for our senior golden Bandit all the way until the end. He loved his monthly visits and was excited to see his favorite ladies. They were so kind and compassionate when he crossed over the rainbow bridge. Then there is our Roxy girl. She had so many skin issues, hot spots and missing fur. Dr. Cromwell got to the root cause and she was on the mend in no time! They are available for your pets needs 24/7, I know this first hand, because I have used this service 3 separate times. -Bandit became ill and immobile. He was seen and diagnosed within an hour between initial call and arrival to the clinic. -Boomer had a growth on his foot that he decided to partially chew off at 430 am on a Sunday morning. Dr. Cromwell answered our call immediately! Removal was a success. -Roxy had emergency surgery at 6am. Within 15 mins of my 430 am call, Dr. Hoffmeister met me at the clinic. Having this incredible team available 24/7 has given us so much peace of mind. You will not find a better team anywhere!

Went in for an initial consult just to see my options. I have had trouble with long wait times even with appointments, difficulty scheduling specialty services and sometimes regular appts, and difficulty getting into contact with a vet at my previous vet. I also felt I was not listened to or heard about my pets sometimes and that frustrated me. So, when I found this one, I was intrigued. It was so relaxing just going to a consult. My goldens were able to freely roam and hang out while we spoke. I never felt pressured or pushed to join or pick higher plans than I needed. It wasn't chaotic and busy (at least up front lol I'm sure they are super busy in the back!). The facilities were so clean and quiet. No animal smell when you walk in (which yes, It's a vet, but it tells me they clean well). I joined and I am so excited to go back on Friday to get my puppers updated on shots and care! I feel this will be a much better fit just from my consult where they even mentioned there are other heartworm and flea preventatives that work better for my lifestyle that are still comparable in price. It's little things like mentioning that knowing I am a busy working mom (because they listen!!!) who loves her animals more than anything, but forgets the monthly heartworm pill sometimes that makes me really happy to bring my babies here!!!

I cannot recommend Coastal Vet and Dr. Cromwell highly enough. After a heartbreaking experience at my regular vet—where I received a devastating diagnosis of a bleeding mass for my 16-year-old Yorkie-poo, Bailey, followed by a complete lack of compassion or follow-up—I called Coastal Vet in a state of distress. They saw me the very same day. Dr. Cromwell spent over an hour with me, explaining the ultrasound and bloodwork in terms I could actually understand. Over the next week, she monitored Bailey’s red blood cell levels and stayed in constant communication, gently helping me understand that he was not getting better. Her guidance was instrumental in helping me make the incredibly difficult decision to choose euthanasia. When the day came, Dr. Cromwell and two vet techs came to our home. The process was serene, compassionate, and deeply respectful. They turned a tragic moment into a peaceful goodbye in the comfort of our home. This place is absolutely wonderful. The facility far surpasses that of Now Care & Urgent Care. I refer to the staff as the pretty vampires. If I could make this place my personal primary care I would do so. The comfort of knowing I have 24 hour emergency care if I need is alone worth the membership fee. If you are considering this vet for your loved ones, you will find no other superior.
